Jon Stewart on Keith Olbermann

Noble — Fri, 01/22/2010 - 09:29

Not a huge Jon Stewart fan, but he was in rare form lampooning Keith Olbermann recently.

A broadcasting Republican with a marginal sense of humor could really make gold doing this on a regular basis. If previous attempts are any indication, it might be a while until one of those come around. In the meantime, they can continue to count on liberals poking fun at fellow liberals.

Firesign Theatre - Temporarily Humboldt County

Noble — Mon, 01/18/2010 - 05:11

Firesign Theatre is a comedy troupe that has been releasing albums since the late 1960s to this day. I don't know what Humboldt County has to do with this, but it is good stuff.

Cocksucker called it "The Noble Lie"

Noble — Fri, 01/08/2010 - 07:48

Here's something fun for a change. This is a clip from "Trailer Park Boys", a hilarious mockumentary TV show from Canada. In this clip, Julian is propositioned by his best friend's on-again, off-again girlfriend, and goes to his friend Bubbles for advice on how to defuse the situation. Bubbles schools him in the ways of the Noble Lie. Parental discretion advised.

George Carlin on houselessness, golf

Noble — Thu, 08/13/2009 - 04:51

I share this clip for two reasons. One, it's funny as hell. Also, it appears that Hugo Chávez is channeling the late George Carlin, banning the "bourgeois" sport of golf in Venezuela. Is it for the poor, or for the oil reserves underneath the golf courses? Only time will tell.

Fox Security

Noble — Sat, 07/25/2009 - 05:05

Here's one from the vaults, March 2006. I would tell Tony Bleep from Fox Security to shove it far up his ass.

And to think Al Franken is in the Senate now with the rest of the jokers.

Stephen Colbert - Health Care Reform is the Matrix

Consider the amount of bureaucrats you would have to fight off to be able to see a practitioner.

World of Fellowship of the Ringcraft

Noble — Wed, 05/20/2009 - 18:49

Totally off-topic, totally non-sequiter. My favorite animated GIF of all time.

lotrwow

Just for the record, I have not played the new WOW expansion because ol' Noble had to give it up for his own good. I had a 70 troll shaman (resto, raid healer), 70 orc warlock, 70 undead mage, 70 tauren warrior (prot, tank), and a few PVP twinks.

If you understood what I just said, abandon all ye hope. Actually, if you understand this animated GIF at all, you are a nerd of the first circle. Gratz.

Blizzard's announcement that they're starting a brand new MMO based on a brand new franchise does not bode well for my productive future.

Dave Chappelle on John Kerry

Noble — Thu, 03/26/2009 - 03:27

Remember "don't taze me, bro?" Remember when a young student got brutally ejected and tasered for asking about John Kerry's involvement in Skull & Bones?

EDIT: The young man who was dragged away and tasered was a 21 year old by the name of Andrew Meyer. I was going to link to the Wikipedia article describing the incident, but it is frankly too disgusting for words, complete with pictures and loaded captions such as, "University of Florida police attempt to escort a resisting Andrew Meyer out of the auditorium."

Here's the original incident.
