Scrooge McDuck and Money

Noble — Sun, 01/11/2009 - 06:55

Scrooge McDuck explains why you need to gamble your money on the stock market, and why capitalism is the greatest system in history.

"Uncle Scrooge, why don't they print up a few billion or so?"

"A FEW BILLION?!?!! OH DEAR NO!!!"

Very brief and possibly cryptic notes behind the cut.

Part 1

Part 2

Brief notes

  • There was a time when there was no money, in those dark ages of primitive man. You see, money wasn't really needed until civilization began...
  • Nice dig on the wives there, fellas
  • Scrooge McDuck is smart enough to know that our income tax doesn't pay for roads, schools, etc.
  • No one relaxes when tax deadlines fall, but without our taxes, we would have no government at all!
  • Remember to save a slice for yourself, it's your pie after all! (ha, ha, ha)
  • Money should never stagnate, but like ocean currents, circulate. But even the kids recognize you have a damn vault full of gold. Hoarder!
  • "Is everything clear?" "No." "Sign here."
  • That'll be a 3 cent fee (ha, ha, ha)

Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land

Noble — Sun, 01/11/2009 - 06:09

Once upon a time, Donald Duck communed with a spirit to learn the mysteries of Pythagoras and the secrets of the ages. He joined the Pythagorean order and studied the great liberal sciences of arithmetic, geometry, and music.

Very brief and possibly cryptic notes behind the cut.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Brief notes

  • The True Spirit of Adventure
  • Secrect societies - and was that a real handshake they  give?
  • It was Pythagoras that discovered the pentagram was full of Mathmagic
  • Within the Pentagram is the secret for creating the Golden Rectangle
  • Golden Ratio - close to 8 / 5 or 1.6
  • United Nations Headquarters uses the Golden Rectangle
  • Donald learns the esoteric meaning of "getting in shape" and "fitness," but it's true, we can't all be "mathematically perfect"
  • Look at that mind -- antiquated ideas, false concepts, superstition -- let's clean all that junk out
  • The shape of things is first discovered in the mind
  • now is the time - now is the time - now is the time
  • The mind knows no limits when used properly. Think of a pentagram, Donald.

Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, and HAMAS

Noble — Fri, 09/05/2008 - 12:53

A while back, there was a huge ruckus over a new children's show on HAMAS television that used a Mickey Mouse lookalike to spread hatred of Israel, racist stereotypes about Jews, and an ideology that supports the downfall and destruction of the above. He was recently joined by a Bugs Bunny lookalike.

  • HAMAS Mickey Mouse - teaching kids to hate and kill
  • Bugs Bunny lookalike declares "I will eat the Jews"

The fact that such blatant propaganda directed at children is reprehensible goes without saying. It is amoral, calculating, deceptive, and because of the vulnerable nature of the targets, highly successful at inculcuating the desired mind-set in the victim. Some have pointed to this as evidence of the cruel and barbaric nature of HAMAS and Muslim Palestinians. Lest we forget, the HAMAS Bugs Buuny lookalike has nothing on the violent, racist antics of the original Bugs Bunny (brought to us by Jewish producer Leon Schlesinger). From Africans with lips bigger than their faces, to our slant-eyed, buck-toothed sadistic Jap enemy in WWII, to the stone-faced, screaming Hun, American cartoon characters have spread racism and ridicule of the sub-human "other" for decades. Let's not forget also that nowadays, cartoons ridiculing Mohammed are tres chic.

Whenever I see this stuff, I think about the fact that Muslim "charities" such as HAMAS and WAMY were in many ways birthed and protected by western intelligence agencies. One of the articles mentions that this programming is aired using electricity from Israel (much like Iraq is now powered by "American" electricity -- since we took what was theirs and made it "ours"), and I wouldn't be surprised if western money and expertise isn't going into this operation, as I see this more of a class war (the brainwashers vs. the brainwashed, regardless of race, nationality, religion). Even Hirohito was a Knight of the Garter, after all.

How did such an extreme group as HAMAS become so popular among Palestinians? Pretty simple, really, the same way most violent extremists (including Hitler) came to power. They come onto a desperate and oppressive scene. They give food, shelter, and provisions to the victims of Israeli occupation. They rebuild what Israel destroys.

It's almost a formula. Build a dedicated corps of loyal, desperate people with nothing to lose and nobody else to turn to. Shore up the bonds of solidarity within that group by giving them an enemy to pin their problems on. Crack down on dissent or "softness" to the "other" within the group. Eventually there is no safe haven except to stay within the group and obey their strictures. Meanwhile, the other camp is doing the exact same thing to their people.
