Girl 27
Noble — Fri, 07/17/2009 - 13:10
I watch a lot of documentaries about atrocities, and very few are more sickening than this one. A group of young women are tricked into attending an MGM stag party thinking they are auditioning for a role. One young woman who was raped and humiliated at that party attempts to get justice, and all of Hollywood scrambles to bury the story and discredit the victim.
Today I read an interview with Debbie Gibson, where she talks about the difficulties growing up as a young woman in the showbiz scene:
“It is very disheartening that there are so many older men that prey on young performers,” Gibson told Tarts in an exclusive interview. “The younger you are, the more innocent you are, the more wholesome your image is, the weirder the fans become in terms of older men wanting to corrupt little girls. Even the way the paparazzi stalk the younger artists is very different from following around adults - I find that very disturbing.”
But what is even more disturbing than dirty male “fans” was the fact that Gibson’s own peeps were often the ones on the prey.
“There would be older male record executives trying to take me to parties by myself but my mom always be like ‘she’s a sixteen year old girl, she’s not going into an atmosphere with over 21-year-olds and alcohol!’ I hadn’t had enough life experience for those situations,” Gibson admitted. “You grow up thinking ‘everyone loves me’, but everyone who you are paying loves you. They are going to love you this year, but they are going to love the next person who makes them millions the next year. I was protected enough so that my childhood could be preserved as much as it could be in the circumstance.”
Orwell Rolls in his Grave
Noble — Fri, 06/26/2009 - 19:13
This documentary by Robert Kane Pappas is an excellent look into the media oligarchy, information, and perception control. It focuses on the 2000 Bush vs. Gore election but is wide in its historical view.
Scientology - Jason Beghe Interview
Noble — Mon, 03/23/2009 - 00:52
All secret societies have their own language, and it gets pretty thick in this interview, so keep this glossary handy if you aim to keep up. Get ready to ride the Bridge to Total Freedom.
Anybody who has read this site knows that I have an interest in these secret and quasi-secret organizations. I also know a bit about occult celebrities such as L. Ron Hubbard. I have never really been interested in Hubbard's organization, Scientology, in particular until I started finding some videos online.
Jason Beghe is an actor and was a high-profile Scientologist for over a decade, before he left in great emotional distress. He was interviewed by Mark Bunker, the man behind Xenu TV and an outspoken critic of Scientology practices. There is a lot of wisdom in Jason's words, and I have a real affinity to his perspective on life, and his spiritual quest to know and "become" himself.
The Church of Scientology made the mistake of squelching and censoring some of their dissenters on the Internet, causing a backlash among internet users and free speech advocates who normally would never have noticed or cared about them. Since then, much information about Scientology has spread around the internet, including interviews with ex-members, internal videos and documents, and accusations of abuse, slave labor wages, stalking and harassment of ex-members, families torn apart by decree, forced abortions, and murder. The volume has steadily grown to the point where their activities are actively protested, and Tom Cruise has to dodge protesters at his movie premieres.
I don't think the story behind Scientology is any stranger than any other religion. However, abuse is abuse and if a fraction of the accusations I have heard are true, it paints a very evil picture of this organization. My interest is how closely the techniques he describes match what I have read over and over about so many cults, religions, and re-education camps. It has also been the stated goal of a number of New Age groups and religions to blend science and spirituality into one.
Two of the most striking moments for me:
- Keep an ear out for the American Spirits "Addictive Free" story, because it illustrates beautifully how our mind works and how much power it really has.
- "And I think there was some hypnotism somewhere in there..." (That wouldn't surprise me.)
Ring of Power: Empire of the City
Noble — Wed, 01/21/2009 - 12:12
"Ring of Power: Empire of the City" is a spectacular, and very long, documentary. Weighing in at over 4 hours, it covers the Egyptian crypto-history of the Bible including the Hyksos Kings, the "Twelve Tribes of Israel," secret societies, Queen Elizabeth II, the Rothschilds, the City of London, September 11, and New World Order and Globalism.
If you decide to track down and verify the claims made in this documentary, you are in for quite a ride. Many fascinating discoveries and some false leads are to be had in this documentary.
This film is also the first place I heard and appropriated the wonderful portmentau, bankster. I'll add notes the next time I watch it (soon).

Dave Chappelle - Inside the Actor's Studio
Noble — Sun, 01/11/2009 - 02:57
A little break from death..
Dave Chappelle is a wonderful comedian and a very insightful man. I loved the film Half Baked, and Chappelle's Show is the last television show I really watched and loved before I stopped watching television.
Dave dropped this interview in the midst of a major controversy, as he fled the third season of his incredibly popular and anticipated television show for an exodus in Africa. The news media speculated that he had gone insane and that he was smoking crack. In this interview, the real reason he fled becomes all too obvious - he was a normal, decent man of integrity who had no idea how toxic, compromising, and artificial fame and the culture-creation industry really was.
The Hour of Our Time - The Legacy of William Cooper
Noble — Thu, 01/08/2009 - 22:50
From the video's intro: William (Bill) Cooper was a former naval officer, decorated veteran, short wave radio broadcaster and world renound lecturer and author, he was shot and killed November 5th 2001 under suspicious circumstances. This is his story.
"Although the so-called 'moral issues' were raised, in view of the law of natural selection it was agreed that a nation or world of people who will not use their intelligence are no better than animals who do not have intelligence. Such people are beasts of burden and steaks on the table by choice and consent. "

Brian Springer - Spin
Noble — Mon, 12/22/2008 - 18:25
This guy is my new hero. I can't believe I never found this 1992 documentary before now.
Instead of watching the satellite television station like a good boy, this bloke found the frequencies to the satellite feed and started watching TV news the way it should be: unfiltered. Watch handlers tell presidents and politicians how to field their questions and avoid uncomfortable issues. Learn interesting new terms like "satellite tour."
Plus, it's just always amusing to me to watch rich and influential men power-paint on the make-up.
Many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves - regret for the past and fear of the future.
