One of the premises of this site is that the world is not as it appears. This is a self-evident fact for many people, and others can accept it, but they have to come to it gradually. Unfortunately, there are also a great number of people who will never accept it and who will resent you for taking them out of their comfort zones. In many ways, popular culture is a mass delusion projected to us by hidden faces, yet by our actions and our desire to belong, we willingly consent to and participate in these delusions.
I don’t pretend to know everything. I do know enough to know that the visible part of any story is just the tip, and like an iceberg, the bulk of the story remains hidden, beneath the surface, viewable only to those who know it’s there.
In recognition of that fact, my site addresses two basic “levels.”
Naturally, the nature of “The Other Side” makes much of the discussion speculative. There is a difference between healthy speculation and wild speculation (a determination you have to learn to make for yourself), and it is a quality that is learned through careful research, study, and exposing one’s self to alternate viewpoints with a critical eye, an open ear, and a functioning memory of one’s own experiences. There is a voice within ourselves that we can train ourselves to listen to. Also, just because something isn’t talked about on television, in my mind does not make it speculation to discuss it if it is openly and plainly occurring anyway.
When talking about white and black, remember the difference between white magic and black magic is not that one is good and one is evil. Magicians have no use for the concepts of good and evil. White magic is done in the open and black magic is done under the cover of secrecy.
This site is here to make it as easy as possible for folk to understand the systems of control which loom over us, be they political, religious, economic, scientific, psychological, social, or even symbolic. That is my long term goal; in the short term, my goal is to link and share insightful, eye-opening audio and video, and recommend the best books to get a real world education.
Here, we try to paint a bigger picture of the history of the world, of empire, and where our future is being driven by the people in power. The site is named after a term from The Republic, where Plato argues that the evolved, enlightened ruling caste must convince the peasantry below them that their positions in life were the will of god. Today, the Noble Lie is an indispensable part of every religion, every government, every system of power. The only difference with Plato is that he openly admitted it was a lie. This site is dedicated to discussing noble lies. I can’t pretend to have all the answers but I do think it’s important for more people to start discussing these topics, and fast.
Through the eyes of popular culture, it would be easy to get the impression that modern society is the natural effect of the natural, somewhat random causes of history. Looking back through history, nothing could be further from the truth. A small handful of families have held onto the mysteries and the unbroken chain of human wisdom down through the ages, while every race and culture has had their traditions, languages, religions, and identity violently crushed and stamped out.
Human history is an unbroken chain of empires rising, breaking the spirit and memory of everything in its path, only to crumble under its own excesses and be swept up by an even larger empire. Each time, the elites migrate into the new empire before the old one is destroyed, redirecting all of their might and resources in a new direction, creating the new world power. Because the empire (an imaginary construct) and its government figureheads take all the blame for all the atrocities committed, the true architects of the atrocities (those who plan and finance them) always ride back in as the hero, the knight in shining armor who saves the day, and gets lavished with more power.
To the people who have been here before, this site is being restructured (yes, again) and I sincerely hope it will become more useful as it is developed. If you are looking for something that was here before, it will return.
