Jon Stewart on Keith Olbermann
January 22, 2010 @ 10:29 am by NobleNot a huge Jon Stewart fan, but he was in rare form lampooning Keith Olbermann recently.
A broadcasting Republican with a marginal sense of humor could really make gold doing this on a regular basis. If previous attempts are any indication, it might be a while until one of those come around. In the meantime, they can continue to count on liberals poking fun at fellow liberals.

How do u feel about Colbert?
Personally, I think Olberman stands revealed as a one trick pony.

Paul,
Your other comment is going to take more reflection than I can give it right now, too much going on, but I can get back to you on this one right away.
My draft version of this post read “Not a huge Jon Stewart fan (Stephen Colbert was the real talent on the Daily Show), but…”
My opinion of Stephen Colbert, whether or not he is doing his schtick, is that he is the most hilarious person on television. He scores some good rhetorical points, but mostly he has me falling over laughing. I’ve posted quite a few Stephen Colbert clips on the ol’ Noble Lie, and there will be more in the future.
I actually don’t dislike Olbermann… but his diatribes are over the top in a way normally reserved for right-wing shock jocks, and honestly I only skim TV news when I’ve been unplugged for a day. I recognize he’s for a younger demographic than me, 18-25 or something.
