  • New York Times - Having children brings high carbon impact (Socializing us against children and those who have them. If you think that's far-fetched, go to your nearest university campus, ask the environmentalist and feminist groups what they think of children, and mothers. "Humanity is a cancer" is the catch-phrase.)
  • Chavez says Colombian 'provocation' saw troops cross border (Colombia will be increasingly a target of international tension, because it's been cursed with the black gold)
  • Aftermath - Knights Templar, Knights of Malta, and Blackwater's Erik Prince (What about the Red Cross? That's a Templar logo we've been flashing around the middle-east for a long time)
  • Injustice Everywhere - In search of police misconduct grants (Existing grants only interested in police misconduct against minorities)
  • Google Blocks Siebel Edmonds from her own blog (Found via Cryptogon)
  • Salon's handy-dandy guide to refuting the birthers
  • Daily Reckoning - The FDIC is in trouble
  • Seeking Alpha - Why another stock market collapse could be imminent
  • Obama, Calderón and Harper vow cooperation (the Three Amigos are back in full swing, look at the last two posts I made)

This is one bizarre world.

Justin Russell (not verified) — Mon, 08/10/2009 - 13:09
This is one bizarre world. Women who hate mothers and children, bioethics (nee eugenics) openly promoted and thought well of (save the planet, get yourself sterilized: Daily Mail U.K.: She's on benefits and pregnant for the 14th time - so should this mother be sterilised?), modern crusades against the "demon" of Islam, Bush invoking Gog and Magog and Holy Wars, etc, etc. Too surreal for words. And lets not forget the media circus interest in all thing flying saucer.

Justin, Thanks for becoming a regular commenter. I wish I could return the favor but your posts make my brain churn visually, not in words. I keep meaning to include a reference to the "sin bins" edict, and honest-to-god telescreens straight out of 1984 in UK homes.. It's like a fact I want to forget, my brain keeps blocking it out. I might be especially sensitized to the anti-child sentiment among the feminist and environmental movement since it was prevalent when I was in college. Also, funny you should mention Gog and Magog, because one of the things I saw mentioned several places while researching my Skull & Bones piece is that "Magog" was Bush Sr's name in S&B -- the name usually reserved for the horniest devil in the club. Wonder if Reagan knew that.

All civilization is centralization. All centralization is economy ... War is the ultimate form of economic competition.
