The Noble Lie

This is hard for me to watch. Not that it's surprising. They do laugh at those they beat up or otherwise harass. Hell, they laughed at me right to my face. Here's what these officers did: they watched me for awhile (surveilling me through the window without my knowledge), then just to see me jump I guess, the officer I had previously told (in person AND in email) to stay off the property unless he's got a warrant or something like this, starts banging on the wall with his maglight. I jumped out of my seat scared half to death at the sudden pounding. I shrieked from the startle, then went to the window and asked what they wanted. They were laughing (heartily) because I had screamed. Then---they walked back to their cars and left. ? Ya know? Just: ? So---I called the Watch Commander. I was told there is no record of them being at my house. And---they continued to claim ignorance even when told that they were JUST here. So "officially", they WEREN'T there. See how nicely that works? I won't mention the officer's name publicly because I don't want any trouble. And quite frankly, I'm scared of that guy. They simply treat us with contempt. They treat us with contempt because that's what they feel toward us. That's basically the bottom line. You can hear it in their voice when they refer to the rest of us as "civilians", as if they were eating something that tasted like old dirty socks. This same officer---BTW---called my landlord a "fag" during an earlier encounter. So happens, my landlord knew him, from years back. He told me one of the officer's favorite phrases was, "I'm the Sheriff in this town, and the Sheriff is off duty"---whenever he wanted to do something illegal or whenever his friends did anything illegal in his presence. I'll try to watch this again in a few.
