“So Mote it Be, Three times Three times Three” is a popular phrase in Wicca. “So Mote it Be” is a very old phrase in secret societies, and its analogues include “Amen,” (which is also Amun) “Make it So”, and “Let it Be.” Let it Be is not like que sera sera; it’s more like saying, Let there be Light.
