Zbig Stares Down Russia

Staring down the Russians - by Zbigniew Brzezinski

Here’s my contribution to the world of zany conspiracy theories. Did you notice how the Russia-Georgia war broke out right as gas prices were starting to drop? Cheaper gas is not something we’ve seen in a while, and probably won’t be seeing again anytime soon.

  1. Peace be with you Noble

I like your blog, and am glad you brought it to my attention. I have read and watched most everything you link to. I find my interpretation is very similar to yours. I see us in the final throws of a world wide fascist coop de grace. I believe that the education of the masses will only begin when they finally stand up and realize that guillotine is falling. Likewise I believe the nazi form of social control will become overt at the same instant.

Have you read Naomi Kline’s “shock doctrine?” It explains the shock and awe military, police, and economic policies very clearly. Also being an anarchist by political persuasion, I look to the great writers of antiquity to help explain the false logic of many modern ideologies of the crypto-fascists. Read Peter Kropotkin’s Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution for a good rebuke of “social darwinism.” Also Daniel GuĂ©rin Fascism and Big Business for a preview of what fascism will become very soon here.

Good blog, keep up the good work.

  2. Thanks Tad, I haven’t read Shock Doctrine, but it’s on my list. I’ve read some essays by Klein on “disaster captialism” and she definitely gets it.

The links are great. It’s important to remember we’re a naturally social and helpful creature (at the very least to others within our tribe/clan/family) that has been trained/educated to operate as a competing, atomized economic unit, judged and scored by the gods of money. Hell, in so many ways (you point them out — like what Food Not Bombs has been through) we’re not only encouraged not to help each other out, but we’re actually prevented from doing so.

Lately, when I hear the word “anarchy”, I think of people helping each other out and building their own communities rather than submitting to large organizations who dole out the crumbs of public/charity funds after they’ve all taken their cut.
